A Dream's Requiem Part I

In this melancholy dream of mine,
Floating across the ocean's horizon.
Venomous and mesmerizing you are,
Such aroma like that of sweet poison.
The water whispers many things,
Thristy for us to encounter.
Yet the sun will always set to another place,
And the moon will hymn a sad lullaby.
So I become marooned on a lonely island,
Playing a requiem with the echo of my tears.
